Hidden in plain sight inside the Topsham Public Library is Topsham's first public art gallery. This gallery, created to provide a place where art is accessible to everyone, is host to a diverse display of artistic expression throughout the year. We have seen wood carving, ceramics, photography, and painting. There has even been a display of exotic hats and Japanese kimonos. Check the calendar or ask at the desk for future dates! Joy of the Lens Topsham Public Library Registration forms and artist release forms will be available online and at the library beginning February 18, 2012. Pleqse return both forms. Submit Registration Form to the library or email a WORD document to | *********Announcing: ********* Moose Owl by Terry Grasse Assembly Line 3D Sculptural Art Exhibit Reception on Saturday, February 25, 2012 11:00 a.m. The exhibit consists of three dimensional sculptural works constructed from handmade and found objects. The artists are Barbara Bean, Maureen Block, Terry Grasse and Ann Slocom. The exhibit is shown in two locations in the library. The Crooker Gallery features hanging works. The entrance atrium displays pedestaled pieces permitting a complete view of all sides of each assemblage. The work is child friendly. The space is intimate and enticing to people of all ages. The exhibit will be on view on the 22nd of February and will close on March 29th. Abstract with Pipes

to interact with each artist. For every exhibit there is the Artist Talk. Usually
held on a Saturday morning at 11:00, this reception features an up close and
