Getting a Card
All Topsham residents/taxpayers may obtain a library card free of cost upon proof of residence.
All nonresident MSAD 75 teachers may obtain a free card to use for classroom materials only.
Nonresidents my obtain a card under the following fee schedule:
- Adult cards (over 18 years)= $35.00
- Children’s cards (under 18 years with an
adult card purchase)= $10.00
- Student’s cards (over 16 years without
adult card purchase) =$20.00

Loan Rules- Books, audiobooks, magazines, and music may be checked out for three weeks. There are no limits on amounts.
- Videos and DVDs may be checked out for one week and are limited to four per patron account.
- All items may be renewed once if no holds have been placed on that item.
Fines
- $ .10/day for childrens' items capping at $1.00/item
- $ .20/day for adult items capping at $2.00/item
- $1.00/day for all movies capping at $5.00/item
