For Kids
Summer Reading has begun!
Pick up a special bookmark at the library any time we’re open. Summer Reading is easy! Just color a bubble on your bookmark for every fifteen minutes you read this summer. There are lots of ways to read—alone, with a family member, or by listening to a book on tape or CD.
Tom Sieling in Concert! Join us on Friday, July 30, at 1pm for an awesome performance and singalong by Tom Sieling. Sieling is a celebrated children's singer/songwriter from New York who will be with us for this one special performance! All ages, limit 100. First come, first served. Free, as always.
Pajama Storytime! Tuesdays at 5:30pm, July 13, 20 and 27, and August 3 and 10. Come in your pajamas to enjoy stories with Miss Kate or Miss Marnie. All ages--bring the whole family!
Join us for our regular programming as well.
Book Babies Mondays at 10:30 Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs and action rhymes and share a book together in each lively Book Babies session. Book Babies gives your baby the opportunity to hear lots of language while you get to know other young families.
Time for Twos Tuesdays at 10:30 Two-year-old children have needs that are unique from babies and preschoolers. This program is designed with them in mind. Parents or Caregivers and their two-year-olds share simple stories, finger plays, and songs lasting 20-25 minutes. After, there is plenty of time for adults to share books with their children.
Preschool Storytime Wednesdays at 10:30 Each storytime engages children in songs, stories, finger plays, and action rhymes. Storytimes last for approximately 30-45 minutes and are designed for preschool children age 3 and older.
